Friday was my last day of Spanish school and I finished four long, but wonderful weeks of Spanish. There were good and bad things about both schools, but overall I have to say I am very happy with the experience I received. After class on Friday there was a short "graduation" ceremony and I was one of four students who finished. On Friday night I finally was able to try out my Salsa and Meringue skills that I had learned the first two weeks in Turrialba. There was a live band and I really enjoyed listening to the Latin music.
Saturday was a bit overcast and I decided to walk around and check out the shops to get an idea of the type of souvenirs I would like to buy. It's difficult because there isn't much actually made in Costa Rica and the things that are reflect it in the price. Hopefully I can find a few little things that I feel sum up my Costa Rica experience! ![]()

Saturday night we were able to watch some local flame throwers in a show. It was really cool to see and it's amazing the talent some people have.
I spent a few hours at the beach on Sunday, but this time of year the sun isn't very hot. The morning hours are when the sun is at its hottest and then the heat seems to simmer down after that. While on the beach I had a horseback riding tour guide ask me if I was interested in going riding and with only two weeks left I jumped on the opportunity. Tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. he will bring a horse to the school and I am excited to be able to explore a different region of Tamarindo and finally enjoy some riding!
